Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

That and 2nd gig... are among my top favorite anime shows. Even though it was only two seasons long, it really showed what great writing coupled with great animation can do for TV.  That anime spurred me to suggest to The Great Sigler to see if he could approach production companies to turn The Rookie or EarthCore into anime... Anime could do justice to The Great Sigler's masterpieces far better than a live-action movie imo.

 

And I can't forget Doctor Who... both the classic (that ended around 1991) and the new series (with both Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant)...
