Junkies often produce kick-ass art based on Scott's works. Click on the flashy picture below to see a slideshow of stuff made by Junkies. And if you're inspired, make your drawings, paintings, sculptures and what-not and send them to scott@scottsigler.net.

I just love it when you talk tech....

Changed the Domain-Behaviour
I've changed the "domain behaviour" for this site. We have various domains which are valid for this portal: scottsigler.com / www.scottsigler.com / scottsigler.net / www.scottsigler.net - more to come. Cookies are set per domain. What I did... one week ago was to set up redirect rules so you will end up on the "www.scottsigler.com" domain, regardless what you have entered in the url. This may cause some cookie fu****.
Another player in this game, is the "Remember Me" Module which is not part of the core Drupal distribution. It's also quite possible that whenever I update this module, the cookies get orphaned due to different cookie naming or something like that in the Plugin itself.
Cheers!
Paul.
ahhh....
Interesting... I can see why Scott's got you doing the back end work. He made a good choice...

Me Too
Wha'sup with that
I suppose...
From a tech, capacity planning perspective, he could have shortened it to make sure the server wasn't keeping up an unusually large amount of open sessions... I know Apache has some issues with dying when the number of open sessions gets too high... With the added traffic of all the new junkies, this could be a side effect. Wonder what he has this running on? Single server? I could see why he wants to control that... In my case at work, we've got a numbr of web servers behind a couple of load balancers with single session tunneling, makes it easier... but sometimes you gotta make do with what you've got... Of course, the server is in Germany...
