My trip to the bookstore

I was on vaction for several days and wasn't able to get to the bookstore until Friday, April 4th. I go into the Macon, GA Barnes & Nobles; find the book (I couldn't miss it on the "New Releases" table); and go to the checkout counter. I'm listening to Scott on "Dragon Page Cover to Cover" (because I was all caught up on "Nocturnal") and I commented that I was listening to the author right then on my MP3 player.

A young readhead female B&N employee was at the next register, and said "I LOVE THIS BOOK!!". Being the O.J. that I am - I knew she was going to need to be clued in on where to find more Sigler goodness. I said, "If you like the book, you are are going to HAVE to listen to Scott himself doing the podcast version. Not only that, there are a few other of his podcast novels, all on www.scottsigler.com and www.podiobooks.com" She shuffled for a piece of paper and wrote the URLs down.

I think she and the dude employee from my register are already downloading episodes. Siglerism is already taking root in the Deep South!

BTW. While I was on vacation, there was still no way to miss the Sigler revolution. Here I am eating my complementary breakfast at my hotel around 7AM, one morning. I had one of those fresh cooked waffles from one of those cook-it-yourself waffle irons - hmmm tasty -- but I digress.

On one of the local news shows, big as life, was the cover to "Infected" (whoever did the cover is a genius btw) then a picture of Scott's bald head and 5 o'clock shadow. I couldn't make out the audio, but from my training in military intelligence, I'm pretty sure there were some subliminal messages. I tried to blink at a rate that would allow me to see the messages more clearly (super secret training has it's advantages). I think I made out something like "What are you waiting for ?!?! Buy the book, bitches !!!"

Anyway Scott is already taking over DC; world domination is next.

Over and out,
