Two completely unacceptable posts...
Hey ben (unverified), I have a few recommendations for you:
1. making unverified posts means you're not legit, or you're incredibly lazy. It's by the grace of the site administrators that your posts even saw the light of day. I suspect that one of the other admins knew that this would only fuel support for Scott and allowed them to pass through.
2. You clearly aren't the fan and supporter you claim to be or you'd know why the delays have happened. Either you don't and as a result have demonstrated you're a complete dumb ass (truly) for opening your mouth before you have all the facts, or you know exactly why Scott has had to suffer these delays and are even more of a shit-head than most probably think you are.
I'm sure you're too stupid to have noticed that Scott doesn't give a shit about shit-for-brains like you, but will really get angry when someone attacks his fans. Well, I'm the same kind of guy, but coming at you from the fan side...I don't really care if you go after me or other fans (beauty--or good fiction--is in the eye of the beholder, so we can agree to disagree on the quality of the work Scott's doing), but to take shots at Scott is more than a fowl. You deserve a solid nose-flattening. Or to have your balls kicked so hard they come out your nose--or the nose of someone in the next county. If you don't know why you're so damn irritating, take some of your valuable "I must have my free content" time and read the website a little closer. And while you're at it, hot shot, why don't you publish a handful (or more) of complete novels as podcasts. And make sure they're so damn successful that Crown Books decides to give you a print deal, even after you've given all your junk away to thousands of fans globally. Go ahead, hot shot! Show us what you've got! Ben (unverified)! I'm anxious to see your quality, free stuff. And be sure to let the bills slip, the family's needs, slip, etc. Don't take any time off, or take care of anything other than giving us the free junk. Just give us some of your free stuff, and ensure it's at least as good as Scott's. If you can't deliver, shoot yourself in the head with a minimum of a .45 cal handgun. And do it somewhere that the rest of us won't have to be bothered by the pathetic news report that your molding carcass was found and can't be identified. We might not realize it's you, puss-bubble, and actually feel bad. Until then, I'm sure looking forward to reading/listening to some of that quality, free ben (unverified) fiction! Bring it on! (How am I doing FDO??? Sorry for the line breaks, but sometimes extreme measures are necessary. The alcohol's on me the next time we meet. Gmork, am I on target??? Thank the Manifold I had finals and thesis to finish this month because I would swear it's been only a week or two!
While I understand that the FDO has a life ourside the podosphere, I hope that I can get my Nocturnal fix before I leave on a 2-week/no-computer-or-internet vacation.
Most that are profound would choose to narrate tales of living men with nouns like sorrow, verbs like lose, and action scenes, and love, but then there are now some, and brave they be, that speak of Lunar cities raised and silver spheres and purple seas.

While waiting for the next episode I have now listened to all Seth Harwood Jack Palms books
and I can realy recommend them.
But now it's getting harder to remember the Nocturnal story.

I obviously like Scott Sigler, it is kinda nutty though if you have watched the feed, as a user, hey- it's feedback people. Props to the Mods for posting it, not verified or otherwise. I was harsh and reactionary in my 1st post, but I read it back just now; and it is a fair reflection of one reader's frustrations in trying to get through this book and use this feed. Sorry I don't know Scott personally or feel compelled to kiss his royal ass to prove myself to my friends, I'm sorry. I am not sorry about what I said. It's fucking stupid to release one chapter in 5 weeks and expect anyone to take this book seriously. Fuck character developement, fuck arching storylines, fuck any sense of urgency in the plotline or caring at all about what happens to Rex or to Savior or Brian or.... Who waits a month to read the next chapter (especially one of the last) of a book?! Come on Scott, you are better than this. You usually show more respect for your own hard work than this. The work itself is deserving of more fitting syndication. No new listener would have enjoyed their experience with this feed for the last 5 weeks. I'll leave it at that, scoff me all you like, I'll obviously be waiting for the next chapter. In the meantime I'll listen to more Western's by Elmore Leonard, you sick fucks. Just kidding about that 'sick fucks' thing, but I thought I'd make a (failed) attempt at humor.

It's sadly obvious that you are venting your frustrations from your mother's concrete womb, that place in her basement that you call your "Bachelor Pad." The place you don't have to face real human contact, failures or responsibilities. You have little if no interpersonal skills or understanding of lifes priorites.
Scott has tried to keep his readers in the loop, albeit in his unique Sigleristic way. That's all we can ask. Nothing more. He doesn't owe us anything because we haven't paid for anything. The content is free. So if the usually stellar schedule gets disrupted what have we lost? Nothing. We've had an interesting, fascinating story up to this point. Does it suck it's been delayed, maybe, but there's bound to be something else you can fill that 30 minutes a week on. You know, like a life?
Really takes these three words: Family, Finances, Free. Which is more important? Well I kind of gave you a hint by putting them in order, at least to what a normal person would perceive. I have a family emergency, I'm taking time off from work (Finances) and I'm definitely not going to be doing any podcasting (Free). When I get an option to bump up my print schedule for a book (Finances) that will obviously give me time with my Family, and ultimately allow me to do my podcast (Free), then I'm sure as heck going to postpone podcast to finish the SMOD so I can meet that early deadline.
It's really not that hard to understand and that's how I would see it if I were Scott Sigler. It's simple actually unless of course you live in your mother's basement and you've contributed nothing to this world except to mooch off the rest of us.
Get out of that basement, goto a book store and buy a copy of INFECTED. Meet some real people, interact with society, have a day of it. If you read the book and thinks it sucks then you can come back here and complain. That's a consumer's right.

You have several choices here. Wait for it, like the rest of us. Unsubscribe and just forget the whole thing. It ain't like Sigler suddenly goes broke if you decide not to take advantage of his FREE gift. And then there's a couple of other ways to go that you may not have thought of.
1. Pay someone with the talent equal to Scotts to finish it over the weekend. Good luck on that one.
2. Finish it yourself, douchebag. Apparently you know how the free podcasting of original material with the quality of Nocturnal, Infected, Earthcore and all the rest is supposed to work. So YOU do it.

You're being a douchebag. First of all, I have one feed. Not five. All my content goes through feed.feedburner.com/scottsigler. The "other" feeds are managed by podiobooks.com. All the episodes are posted there, and most of those book are COMPLETE, so I'm at a loss to say how they could be messed up.
If you don't think I'm showing respect, working hard, or anything like that, just unsubscribe.

Nocturnals winding up, so there has to be something to replace it I figure, so we are waiting a month or so for the next update, its free and it damn good. If I was hammering out my hard earned on it I would have license to be pissed but as I am not its cool. BTW we haven't all read/listened to infected so it is pretty cool to have it as a layover, just because you have managed to listen to it doesn't make it shite to post it for the rest of us. Also if the next big thing is a sequel so much the better I for one am happy to go back and play in the Ancestor/rookie/earthcore worlds again. Put bluntly in the FDO we trust.
