THE CRYPT: Recruit Yolanda Smith

Junkies, howdy-ho. I'm still in Michigan handling famliy biz-nass. I thought I'd try out my portable recording rig and see if it measured up to your listening standards. My guinea pig? Another CRYPT story, this time the sad tale of Yolanda Smith. When you is a ho, the pimp always wins. This is your first peek inside the PUV James Keeling. Just a peek, mind you, the FDO™ wouldn't want to hike up his skirt and show you the good stuff all at once.
This episode of THE CRYPT was co-written by Tabitha "Tabz" Smith, world-famous for her work on Buffy Between the Lines. If you're a Buffy fan, you simply must check out this podcast. Turns out Tabz can kick out some semi-twisted concepts of her own, as evidenced by this story.

Is this episode 8?
I could have sworn I saw somewhere that this is character story #8. If that's true, where's 6 and 7?
I thought audio quality was great!

great story and it soiunds fine to me
G-Man
Chasity, do not put that in your mouth!
Sound: Fine. Story: Excellent!
I'll second both DFitz and BarbaraJ.
Sound: I too am a one-bud listener. (Uh, that's as in "listening with one ear," not "listening after having downed one brewski.") As such, I'm not super-picky about DVD-quality audio. That said, however, I too heard the whole episode without noticing any fan noise. Therefore I'd say, feel free to use this mobile rig as needed.
Story: Holy sheepdip! The erstwhile Lady Yolanda has serious potential, and her predicament means serious jeopardy. Tabz does an excellent job at working within a culture where people are most definitely Not Nice At All — although, having met "Deacon" Sands, I conclude she could have fallen into far worse hands. I'm eager to see how she fares.
Fan Noise? What fan noise?
I didn't hear any fan noise and would love to receive content created using this if the only other option is withdrawl. I seriously can't wait for more Crypt.

a question, Scott...
is the music in the CONTAGIOUS promo the podcast theme? if so, that's bad ass!!
By the way,
EXCELLENT STORY!!!
Enough about the sound already - let's talk about Tabz excellent story. come on people, you're junkies not complete friendless nerds.
Tabz, this was classic and I cannot wait to see how this plays into the overall Crypt storyline. Lady Yolanda might turn out to be a badass especially with a SgtMajor to show her the ropes.
On a side note... hope you don't die a horrible death in Nocturnal. Hope Police Chief Mommy and the fresh off the assembly line Savior Klauser get you out alive

The new rig sounds great, I heard no fan noise either. Definitely a great way to do stuff whilst you're out and about. I would stick to the home studio for Nocturnal and future 'Main' stories as the sound quality is better. Thanks for getting all this content out to us even though your really busy with family business. You da man!
Sound is awesome

Sounds good
Your road-rig sounds fine,
I didn't notice the fan at all. You shouldn't hesitate to send out a little something when your on the road. I can't get enough!

Scott, Scott, Scott...
I expect only the best audio quality for NOCTURNAL. Please use your home rig for that sucker
By the way,
I love how you piece your stories
It gives a slow building up to the tension, and I'm never entirely sure what's important or where you're going.
I didn't notice the fan, but that might be because it's in sync with my own computer fan. Your moblie recording gear kinda gives your reading an old-school Earthcore feel. It makes me more afraid for the people on the PUV James Keeling.
"we apologize for the inconvenience"
A teaser peak at the inside fo the PUV James Keeling?
Kinda like the Maryln Monroe dress flare up. Your such a tease FDO!
