Great novel and even though I'm what, two eeks late lsitening to the final episode, I loved it no less.

Sure, Contagious was flippin great entertainment and once again, you proved yourself worthy, but just what have you done for me lately? Seriously Scott, it's been two whole days since the final episode of Contagious was posted and it appears you've retired.
Honestly though, let me just say thank you! I was thoroughly entertained.
Next, I want you to know that I paid for the audio -- twice, in fact (burned a copy to send to my brother who is now also singing your praises.) I also dropped a 5 star review on Amazon (and have asked my brother to do likewise). That's my part. Now get back to work! I'm running low on entertainment.

WOW. I was watching it come to a head and then, when the condom clad team abandoned the Margotmobile my preconceptions of how the story might play out were shredded. All these story threads then billowing in the wind like so many triangle tentacles... beautiful... lovely triangle... tentacles ...
*COUGH* What?
Oh. So... I was saying... Then the building with the hostages, I was thinking "Where's mommy?" From then on, "No, he's not gonna do it." "Oh shit, yes he is!"
My hat off to you sir for not disappointing or taking the easy way out with a nice, everyone high-fiving, hollywood ending.

I'm probably setting myself up for a heaping helping of abuse, but I've got to confess: I have not bought a copy of Contagious (yet). Honestly, Infected was my least favorite of your novels (even though I bought two copies the day it was available on Amazon). BUT, Contagious may just have passed the Rookie as my all time favorite Sigler novel. As the book went on I COULDN'T buy the book because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep from reading it.
Here is the thing that kept me from doing it. REGULAR, DEPENDABLE posts every Sunday. I'm not trying to give you any shit, because beggars can't be choosers, but knowing those posts would come every Sunday, made listening to this book SO NICE. When I think back to all the shit you were dealing with as you wrote this, it is just incredible that you are taking your game up to such a high level. I've loved every podcast novel that you've done, but I really wanted to give you props on Contagious...awesome, awesome, awesome work.

The End? I'm glad it's not.
Book one in this series was good, but not as much my cup of tea as stories like Nocturnal, but book two was an amazing story that is amongst my favorites.
Book Three (PANDEMIC) is going to take some work

They just didn't know it yet.
While it would have been possible to save 'em, it took balls (both yours and the ones Pery lost) to kill them off. Dew ended up being a great character, and I went from not giving a shit about Perry to really liking him as well. By ending it the way you did you stayed true to the way you built them up. Good job.
As an aside - I wonder what the triangles, or tri-angels, would do if the'd been locked onto a nocturnal.
