Awwww shit! There it is, folks, the cover of the hardcover for ANCESTOR. As a Junkie, you are the first bitches on the planet to see this bad boy. The cover isn't even up on Amazon yet (but you can pre-order it, of course, 'cause I'm a marketing whore). I am still working my ass off on this one, and I hope you dig the efforts.

So I just got an email from Amazon.com telling me the release date for Ancestor has been pushed back to May 10th!!

Which is better for the FDO book sale ratings?
It would seem a larger pre-order number would be a good thing but....
I think FDO has said otherwise previously.

Whatever works for you
Pre-order, buy on the day online, or patronize your local bookstore. Doesn't matter. Well, only thing that matters is if it's an indie store, ask if they report to the NY Times. If not, snag it from a Borders or Barnes & Noble.
The point is, no day-of rush -- working on a different level now, so all pre-sales roll up to that first week's stats. You do whatever works for you.
does amazon report to the NY Times?
if not then i'll get it through one of the other places.

Sorry scott (and cover artist). No way you could beat the original Ancestor cover. Now that was the best book cover ever.
Oh yeah, preordered. (I'm not missing another chance of getting Ancestor in print for less than $50 Although I would prefer the original.)
