People's Choice Podcast Awards - Nominations Open Now

I listen to a lot of different podcasts and I got an e-newsletter from Marc Gunn (Irish & Celtic Music Podcast) encouraging fans to go to www.podcastawards.com and nominate your favorite podcasts. Yes, I have an eclectic taste in music and like guys in kilts.
Anyway, I nominated "The Rookie" for Best Produced and the Mature categories. (You can't pick the same podcast for the top 2 spots (People's Choice and Best Produced) and only in one other subcategory (I thought "Mature" was appropriate). And a little recognition for Saddock seems appropriate. I used the iTunes URL http://www.podiobooks.com/title/the-rookie/feed
But I think that's the original. I didn't see the re-cast on podiobooks yet, so I guess that's the best URL to list. (Willing to be educated, tho)

I saw a "Utilikilt" the other day
In fact there were 2 different guys on the cruise ship that wore them. Seemed a little out of place, but hey, they were on vacation.
I'm trying to convince the Big Guy to wear a real kilt to DragonCon next year. He's even got plenty of Scottish blood in the old family tree AND the legs to carry it off.
Just missed the HIghland Games here in Atlanta - it was pouring rain all weekend. But I'm sure there were plenty of guys wearing the plaid "properly."
If you're going to do something, do it right!

I'll check on the status of THE ROOKIE: Re-mastered is.....
.....over on PB.com. I'm not positive what the plan is for replacing one book with the other. Since the titles are so similar, it may be a special case.
