When I got an email from Amazon.com stating the release date for my UK delivery had moved:

Estimated arrival date: July 06 2010 - August 12 2010
But on listening to the FDO's plans for 2010, I'm grinning like the village idiot!

ANCESTOR Tour schedule is a ways off …
… but I'm working on it. Scott's publicist at Crown and I have been furiously revamping the schedule. Once that happens, she does her magic with confirming with bookstores, then I build the rest of the tour details around that, then we bring it to you guys! Seems likely tour dates for ANCESTOR will publish in mid-April.
And right now, we've got two tours scheduled for North America this year: one for ANCESTOR in July, and one for THE STARTER in September.
Oh, AND there's Australia in April. That FDO™ never sits still, I'll tell ya.

THREE tours this year?!?! OMG OMG OMG
Well, okay, Australia isn't a full fledged balls to the wall tour, but he does have multiple stops there, doesn't he? What is it? 3 or 4 different cons that banded together to get the scratch to make that happen? And Soupbone's rates aint cheap. He's got a primo stable, let me tell ya'!
Are you or the Evil Queen going on to kangaroo/koala land? My money's on the EQ, even if the Siglers pay for her out of pocket. A half price trip for two down under doesn't come up very often. At least that's what I'd do if I were in the FDO's shoes. I must say I envy him the opportunity. This definitely falls into the fringe benefit category of being a bad ass author.
That's like 2-3 months ahead of time. Should be plenty of time for Junkies to get cheap plane tickets. Awesome. And triple awesome that Scott will get to go on three tours. I know that's his favorite part of this gig.

The news is ...
ANCESTOR's "street date" has moved to June 22 to make it more of a summer blockbuster novel. That's when it will be in stores. Also, THE STARTER pre-order begins on April 1, marking the return of Sigler Ascenscion Day.
