Audible, today you suck, tomorrow I will love you again

Ok I already ordered my Hard Cover version from amazon.com ("amazon.ca you suck too"). Wont be here till the 17th though. But I love Scott so much (not in the gay way) I went to try to get the down-loadable audiobook version as well from audible but no luck. I know I can listen for free from the podcast but then I have to wait and I know I can get the CDs from Amazon but apart form the killer shipping to Canada I really don't care too much for the CDs it takes up too much space. Physical space is a premium at home, I already have to be thinking ... where the hell I am going to put this book when it arrives on my door step. Basically Audible's reply to me said that they are in the process of re-negotiating contracts with Random House and they won't get any new titles till the deal is complete. My take on it is that they have fallen out of love with Random House because of Random House's recent decision to sell audiobooks without DRM and that goes against Audible's model ... I love Audible so much (ok maybe in the gay way) but sometimes they can be a bitch. No love in the iTunes store either, they just direct all queries to the pocast. And as for eMusic, I really don't feel like setting up a subscription with them just to get the book. Scott ... these guys are standing in your way for World Domination ... you must take note that I really tried ... so please remember not to blow up Toronto :) Anyway I guess I will continue to listen for free and enjoy the story again when the book show up (eventually) ... just wanted to find another way to support the book.
