Order Scott Sigler books and audio CDs

Hey Scott, I'm subscribed to the feed since around september 2005. I love your stories, but I'm the best couch-potatoe of all the potatoes on this planets surface.... So now I've to regret waiting so long to buy the books. Earthcore and Ancestor are not available anymore (at least clean versions without fingerprints of all those junkies!). But I've preordered The Rookie and ordered Infected and Contagious here at amazon. Live long and bloody my FDO daMac

I love the stories on podcast, listening to 'Contagious' now, and got the Infected book a while ago, does anyone know when the rest of the books will be printed in the UK? going off to listen to podcast :)

To Scott Sigler, Even though I'm not done with my Infected Podcast I must say that I LOVE IT!!!! I listen to Infected everyday at work and I get so lost in the story that just today when I heard a certain section of the podcast all I could say was Oh my god!!! for which the entire office heard. I love your stories and they are entertaining, please keep the stories coming because I'm loving it! I have already recommended your books to anyone. =]

So I am a little embarrassed to say that I only got around to listen to the Contagious audio book 2 weeks ago (after downloading it from Audible from the end of January), what can I say ... life is busy. But I am not embarrassed to say that it took me the 14+ hours in 2 sittings to mow right though that sucker. That was a "bitching" book. I deliberately stayed away from the feed so I wouldn't spoil the experience of attacking the story. One thing that held up my listening was that I really had to go back and listen to the Infected audio book to recap the whole gruesome ordeal before moving on to the new book. I was glad I did because I had forgotten how great the 1st story was. :) Anyway at the end of the book I immediately went to Audible put my review (5 stars of course) and that was when I discovered Audible had a new audio format in their offering. For those complaining about the audio quality of Audible's audio books, they have now stepped up to the plate and added a new format called "enhanced" which is basically CD quality. It makes a real big difference (you will notice the files are twice the size). I was able to download contagious again in this new format and a few other books that I already added to my library that they have converted and man I wished I had waited a little longer before listening to Contagious because I would have gotten even a better experience listening to the story. It sounded like I was in the closet with Scott as he recorded the book ... (ok that didn't come out right, but you get the point). Now all that is left is for Audible to drop that DRM ... and then it will be total world domination for the DFO after that. Ok now I can go back to listening to the feed without fear of spoilers :). ... Peace out ... I just know there is another story in this series .. and I am eagerly waiting. - roT(richard of Toronto)

!! Oh yeah baby !!! ... just drop Contagious into my Audible cart and waiting for it to download, so I should have it on my iPod by the next time I sync.

So Scott, I just want to bring up the question that someone asked earlier (but I didn't see a reply) ... How much do the audio book purchases count towards the overall success of the book.

I just want to say that I really appreciate having this in audiobook form because my schedule is busy and without audiobooks I would never have gotten back into enjoying fiction in its original form (since most movie adaptations cannot do justice to the original literature). Since I have joined Audible 2 years ago I have moved from consuming 0 fiction titles (because I only have time to read technical journals etc for work related stuff) to over 150 audiobooks in my library. It was after getting hooked on Earth Core in podcast form that got me thinking that maybe audiobooks may not be so bad and I have not looked back since.

Keep up the good work and I am sure us junkies will continue to support your good efforts in any way we can.

My older brother bought infected first and told me i had to read it... so i did. I am the bookworm in the family... and i love it! i have read it like 4 times already.... then he bought contagious just for me to read because he listens to the podcasts....i just gotta say i love both books. well gotta go.. gonna read contagious again..... KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!!!!!!

Dude when is the audiocd coming out in the the UK i have been trying to buy from Amazon, so far the only option is spending about $60 which im sorry FDO is a bit steep when I have to + shipping. Right then hopefully very soon! Don't want to buy the audible, heard low quality and also the drm!

When my husband saw the contents of the box from Amazon he asked when was the next time he'd see me. During the reading of "Infected", I think I forgot I was married - spent every spare second devouring this book. Of course staying up half the night helped me finish it in less than 2 days! Same thing with "Contagious" - you just can't put the damn book down! You just have to know what happens next and it never ends... there's always a "what happens next"! Sigler is the master of horror!

When I first read "Infected", less then a year ago my family was on vaction to cape cod mass. One day we decided to go to the library and pick up a couple books or movies. I was looking at the new releases shelf when I saw a plain black spine with "Infected" in large orange letters. This piqued my curiosity. So when I picked up the book and read the inside cover descriding an incurable desease, I decided to get it. I finished it in four days. Every day up 'till 1A.M. Now more than 6 months later, I still have the book. All my family has read except my mother. Even my 7th grade language teacher has read it. All the same copy too. Like I said, I'm now a pusher(and junkie) of your delightful little "product".

The cover of the book I received is totally messed up. The edge was left untrimmed and folded back so you can't see the last "-ous" in the title. (You can see the printer guides where the cover should have been cut to properly fit.) I considered getting a new one from Amazon, but I figure that this might be a collector's item worth something someday if the book is as good as I think it will be. :) Did anyone else get a copy like this?

I went to buy it at Borders today in Downtown Cincinnati and they didn't have it! I was very upset. I did order it on-line though so it will still count as having been bought today. Ok, whining is done!

Picked up Contagious on amazon today. Didn't want to get caught not having DISCIPLINE. Long live the chicken scissors.

Just got my copy. Called Borders yesterday and found out they had 5 copies, so I went by 30min after opening to get my copy. Looks like someone else here in Folsom likes it as there were only 4 on the shelf. I'll be buying another at Borderlands at the Jan 10th signing too.

I've got my Amazon copy and Borderland copies on the way. BUT, I tried calling Murder By the Book to place a pre-order for 3 Copies and MBB tells me the cant sell them before the release date. I asked if they would take a pre-order as the release date is 12/30. I was told "Oh no, the release date is 2-3wks from now". I said "Oh no, that the book signing is then and the release date is tomorrow. Then I heard someone in the background say I don't think we can sell them before the date of the signing? They took my information and asked me to call back tomorrow.... I also called Boarders Books & Music in Dallas and They wouldnt take a pre-order either. They took my info and said someone will call me tomorrow and if they dont to just give them a call back. Geez, is this normal for bookstores not to do pre-orders? Sorry didnt know which thread to post in so I posted in two of em.

Aaaarggh I have finally bought managed to buy your novel contagious, will have to wait 3 weeks before I can start to read it as It is coming from the good old U S of A.

Want to say a big thank you for all your novels, which have kept me sane or is it insane since earthcore no sure. I am more than happy to support your efforts to take over the world. Going to order the rookie though as I can download that sucker real fast too.

Might order the audio CD as well but need to find a better supplier than amazon as amazon in France does not have your novels Arrrrgghh I neeeeed my fix Cheers

So I'm going to the stank (taint?) tour in Houston and MBB won't let you sign nuthin' that t'weren't bought there. Therefore, I can't in good conscious purchase the new shizzle until you invade my hometown. What up wid dat, FDO?

The only "Contagious" pre-order that Amazon.co.uk could offer me was the paperback in September 2009 - now how is that going to help Pope Siglericus XXX on the NY Times Best Seller list (and yes - I know it was a tad optimistic to assume that a site ending in .co.uk would actually contribute to a US best sellers list but in this ever shrinking world and all that...). So, I've cancelled that order (which was going to cost me £6.64) and placed an order with Amazon.com instead (at about £16.51). Sigler - I must love you soooo much!

Okay Scott, I bought 10 copies of Infected from a brick and mortar and we didn't quite make it to the best seller list. This time I have pre-ordered 5 copies of Contagious from Amazon and will be picking up 5 more in person on 12/30, so you better get it together this time. I NEED you to be able to write full time. You've got too much demented stuff going on there, so you need to be able to get it all on paper.

We have 4 copies coming from Boarderlands and 4 copies coming from Amazon. A bunch of our friends are getting their Christmas presents a little late this year, but they will think it is more than worth the wait!
