Chicken scissors, also known as poultry or kitchen shears, are a pair of heavy-duty kitchen scissors which often come as part of a cutlery set with a knife block. They are most often used for trimming poultry, fish and many other foods, and are strong enough to cut through skin, meat, and even bone.
