Descendant is the title of the planned thriller / science fiction novel by American author Scott Sigler. Descendant is the sequel to Sigler's second podcast novel, Ancestor.
While the release date of the podcast novel has not yet been announced, Sigler has alluded that the plot of the novel will most likely follow the survivors of Ancestor, and not all of them will survive this time around.
