[edit] Character Background
A Quyth Leader and underworld figure, Gredok is the owner of the Ionath Krakens. Gredok is a merciless and powerful figure in the underworld of The Rookie universe. In the opening scene of the novel Gredok acquires Quentin Barnes for the Krakens by ruthlessly threatening his lieutenant, Stedmar's, wife and child when it looked like Stedmar might try to keep Quentin for another season. Gredok commonly uses threats of this nature to get his way throughout the [[The Rookie|novel]. From his head coach Hokor the Hook-Chest to his another of of his lietenants Mopook the Sneaky (whom Gredok followed through on his threat and had Mopook eaten alive) Gredok is a Quyth noone want to mess with.
While he is not seen much throughout the novel, Gredok's presence is very much felt. He intimidates every character in the novel with the possible exception of Quentin Barnes and is very interested in the success of the Krakens. This interest however is not spawned out of any sort of team loyalty but rather Gredok's interest in the sort of diplomatic immunity a Tier 1 team would have. With such immunity in Place Gredok could expand smuggling efforts and make huge profits to get the return on investment he is looking for when he bought the Krakens in the first place.
[edit] Skills
As a team owner and underworld boss Gredok's skills tend towards manipulation and leadership. Being a Quyth Leader he is directly suited to those tasks as Gredok can pick up direct physiological responses in his opponents and underlings that can show potential weaknesses. Gredok is particularly good at reading Human idiosyncracies to determine if they are lying to him.
