Pandemic

I NEED CLOSURE DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in nursing school and every time I see a case or picture of any sort of eczema I think there are alien parasites involved and the patient is gonna try and kill me. i NEED to know how it ends if i am ever gonna be able to finish school and sleep at night ever again.

I just saw it in hardback.  Huge wave of self doubt washed over me - since I'm already in the doghouse for buying a new amp last week should I wait for the paperback?  Or should I mug an old lady and use her social security check to buy the book? 

I had intended to blow it off to protest the death of Dew and Scary Perry but my hands are starting to shake and I need my fix.   Ok Ok - I'll buy it.  But I'm rooting for the Aliens!

My three favorite characters died off. Amos, Dew and obviously Perry. I just finished Contagious today. I dont think I can go another year waiting for Pandemic.

Well first, I love the book infected. I'm 13 and I literally could not put it down. I was reading while watching tv and making lunch. I finished it in 5 days. second, trust me, knowing that Perry dies does not spoil the intensity of this book. Keep reading!!!!! and lastly, I have been searching for the last half hour for the order of the books! Obviously I know infected is first but what are the next ones(in order please) I really want to keep reading!!!!!!!!

How the heck is SS going to continue the Infected story when Perry gets killed off?

Yes I said it.  Too bad about the spoiler but read the book, the journey is the fun thing.  Besides, aren't you curious how?

Anyway, without Perry, I'm sure there were some brain cells fried to come up with the continuance of the story in Pandemic.  I'm supposed to be packing to leave for a 4 hour car trip in an hour but I saw Pandemic mentioned and hoped the audio was available to make the trip interesting (tried reading, but the driving got in the way).  Not here, but I'm looking fwd to it.  And SS: howcome you tour NYC only when I'm not around?

When the FDO came to Australia, I was lucky enough to spend some time with him just hanging out. We spoke about Perry and Dew being such a hard act to follow. He mentioned that he was amused by the fact that people thought they weren't actually dead - but I can tell you he has promised not to wimp out and have some ridiculous plot twist that will undermine his credibility as an author. They are gone and are going to stay gone. In my book, that just means they have both achieved the legendary status reserved for heroes that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

That said, I'm sure the FDO knows the shoes he has to fill, and we all know he is definitely up to the task of creating something/someone for Pandemic even cooler and hard hitting than we have seen so far.

For me, whenever I see that pair of chicken scissors in the kitchen drawer, rest assured I'll only be thinking of one thing - the big man and the fact that in the end, only a nuke could take him out...

ok ppl sigler has stated many difrent times that perry is dead and gone n will not return . . . however it could wrk if perry was brought bak in a hallucination, like rocco in boondock saints 2. as for the roach thing, do u really think thats the case, y the fuk would any body jump that far ahead into the story?

my beleif is that perry isnt really dead. he was too great of a character to kill off. he was described as a cockroach and everyone knows cockroaches can survive a nuke...it even says there are roaches in pandemic. so i still have faith that perry is still going to be kicking ass and taking names as usual

Your newest and final infection sounds like what Hollywood needs right now: a story line worth a f-ck!  Hope this trilogy gets picked up by the film industry that way they can stop remaking classics and ruining them!

I gotta say though... it's going to be hard without Perry and Dew.  You did a feat when you created those characters.  They're hard to forget.  I don't know about returning them from the dead though.  I'm more curious as to what characters will surface.

I'm very intestested in reading this book, but why did you have to kill Perry and Dew. It's not the same without Perry and Dew. You only let live the characters i could care less about. Please at least bring Perry back to life. You have the POWER!

Does anyone have an eta on when this book will be released?

I can't wait! I've read Infected and Contagious about three times since I bought them. Just gotta know how it all ends!
